The concrete was poured in a single, uninterrupted process. Afterwards, the surfaces were leveled using a laser-controlled surface finisher. This technique meant that the height of the concrete did not deviate by more than three millimetres at any point.
Foundation for the ice has been created
The multi-layered concrete layer, under which various seals and the cooling pipes are located, forms the basis for the ice that will be added later and therefore also for professional and recreational ice sports. The concrete takes seven days to dry - after 28 days it is completely walkable.
