Where EHC Red Bull München and FC Bayern Basketball usually host their matches, the state capital of Munich now also offers public ice skating.

Since the beginning of August, ice sports enthusiasts have been putting their skills to the test on the three underground ice rinks. The City of Munich has rented around 7,900 hours of ice time per season in the SAP Garden.

From the training hall to the main play area

On December 21, a Christmas special will take 600 people in three slots to the main rink of the multifunctional sports arena.

From 14:00 to 16:00, there will be pre-Christmas ice skating for families.

•

From 17:00 to 19:00, young skating enthusiasts can do their laps on the ice to Christmas pop.

•

From 20:00 to 22:00, the Christmas special is rounded off with an ice disco for adults.

Tickets are only available online via the SAP Gardens ticket store.

Access to the ice rink and changing rooms is via E6 as usual. Visitors can hire ice skates for ice skating in the popular sports area of the multifunctional sports arena.

The kiosk in the recreational sports area and the "Henry" restaurant in the SAP Garden will adjust their opening hours to these times. Visitors to the "Henry" can look forward to an extended range of products, including mulled wine and punch.
