Ice skating in summer
The SAP Garden in Munich's Olympic Park officially opened its doors for ice sports in August 2024. Since then, thousands of visitors have found their way to one of the three underground ice rinks outside of the regular major events.
Ice hockey, figure skating, disco, dance, skating - the opening season has shown that ice sports have a new, state-of-the-art home in Munich and the surrounding area.
The good news for all ice sports enthusiasts: our ice sports season will not come to an end in May, June and July either, as we officially offer two rinks during these summer months as well.
