But the professionals of the German cup winners are also constantly confronted with the future, as many of them can follow the progress on the Munich Olympic site on their daily drive past the Mittlerer Ring on their way to BMW Park: The foundations of the SAP Garden, FCBB's second venue from next year, have long since been laid and the interior is also taking shape - the team was able to see this for themselves during a visit to the hall construction site.
Season tickets already on sale
Equipped with safety helmets and safety shoes from FCBB workwear partner HAIX, the team was first given a virtual insight into Bayern's future venue next to BMW Park in the Experience Center next to the SAP Garden. This was followed by a tour of the construction site up to the interior, where dribbling and dunking will take place from summer 2024. Former Bayern captain Steffen Hamann, who has been a brand ambassador for Bayern basketball since this season, provided explanations. "It's impressive and you get a good idea of what an amazing arena it will be," said FCBB rookie Devin Booker, "I can't wait to play here next year."
The Bayern basketball team is expected to play around 20 home games in the SAP Garden in the 2024/2025 season, mainly in the EuroLeague. EHC Red Bull Munich will move there completely. All other FCBB home games will take place at BMW Park, and the Experience Center in the immediate vicinity of the SAP Garden is available for anyone who wants to get an overview of the new super hall before it is completed. Free visits can be booked via the FCBB homepage.
All-in season tickets for 2024/2025 with a considerable price advantage are also already on sale.
