Grand Opening of FC Bayern Basketball sold out// GRAND OPENINGOn 3 October, the Grand Opening of FC Bayern Basketball will take place in the SAP Garden with the EuroLeague opener against Real Madrid (8:45 pm) and a surprise act. The game is already sold out less than 24 hours after the official pre-sale start.On Wednesday, 31 July, the public pre-sale for the Grand Opening in the multifunctional sports arena in Munich's Olympic Park officially started. After less than a day, tickets for the match against Real Madrid's star ensemble are already sold out.
The SAP Garden, the German champions' additional venue, will primarily host FC Bayern Basketball's EuroLeague games.
The new EuroLeague calendar includes eight double game weeks until 10 April. After the Real opener, FCBB has to play twice away from home, at Panathinaikos Athens and Partizan Belgrade. The second home game is against EuroCup winners Paris at the SAP Garden on 17 October. Defending champions Panathinaikos will visit Munich the day after Christmas, while the first German derby against Berlin will also take place at the SAP Garden on 14 November.
