Canadian consul visits the SAP Garden// NEWSDavid Dunkerley (Canadian Consul in Munich) and Geneviève Rolland (Québec's Delegate General in Germany, Austria and Switzerland) visited the SAP Garden together.
The construction site in the Olympic Park is making progress every day - and the opening of SAP Gardens is drawing ever closer. Even before the time comes, some interested parties are already taking a look at the construction site. Dunkerley and Rolland are among them.
Dunkerley: "Perhaps the best hall in the whole of Europe"
The Canadian consul and the delegate general of Québec are both sports enthusiasts and are already looking forward to the first events in the SAP Garden. "It's exciting to finally see the inside of the arena. It will definitely be the best arena in Germany - maybe even in the whole of Europe," said Dunkerley during the tour.

The consul's three children all play ice hockey in various youth teams at EHC München e. V. The three additional ice rinks away from the main rink, where EHC Red Bull München and FC Bayern Basketball will play in future, were therefore of particular interest to Dunkerley's youngsters.
Rolland: "Can hardly wait"
After taking a look at the heart of the arena, the delegate general of the Canadian province of Québec also spoke full of anticipation about upcoming sporting events in the SAP Garden. "You can already imagine what it will be like when the arena is full of fans. I can hardly wait to come here for the first time when everything is ready," explained Rolland.
The impression the tour made on the two politicians is best summed up by Dunkerley's final question: "Are there any tickets for the SAP Garden yet?" To the consul's delight, we were able to answer "yes".
