But the SAP Garden is making steady progress. With the installation of the first cooling systems under the training areas, perhaps the most important step toward ice sports has been taken.

The installation of the first cooling system in pictures
The ground under the surfaces is traversed by large metal tubes. The cooling liquid that can keep the ice permanently frozen will later flow through these.
Work began on the three separate training areas next to the arena itself. The SAP Gardens Bowl, where the Red Bulls will play their home games from the 2024/25 season, will follow.
