Milestone in pictures: First cooling systems installedFoundation laid for ice on the training surfaces// CURRENTThe SAP Garden continues to develop. In addition to the progress of the arena facade, which already has the striking pilaster strips almost all around it, there is also a lot going on inside.
Patience is still needed until next year, before the arena becomes the future home of EHC Red Bull München and FC Bayern Basketball will also play many of its games there. But the SAP Garden is making steady progress. With the installation of the first cooling systems under the training areas, perhaps the most important step toward ice sports has been taken.

The ground under the surfaces is traversed by large metal tubes. The cooling liquid that can keep the ice permanently frozen will later flow through these. Work began on the three separate training areas next to the arena itself. The SAP Gardens Bowl, where the Red Bulls will play their home games from the 2024/25 season, will follow.
