City of Munich secures first ice skating times// NEWSThe City of Munich has booked its first ice skating times at SAP Garden. From the beginning of August 2024, the city will have access to almost 8,000 hours on the three underground ice rinks.

A contract to this effect was finalized on Friday between the City of Munich and Red Bull Stadion München GmbH. The ice times will be used for school and club sports as well as public ice skating.

"The necessary course has been set"

Mayor Verena Dietl: "Munich's ice sports enthusiasts can look forward to additional ice skating times in the new SAP Garden next year. We have already laid the necessary contractual foundations for this."

Up to 160 hours of skating time are allocated in coordination with EHC Red Bull München and FC Bayern München Basketball, depending on the game and training dates.
